So how did my "wine career" start? I started making my own wine around 1970 using "kits" from a company called Wine Art. I enjoyed making the wine and enjoyed drinking it too. However, making wine took a back burner while other things occupied my time like remodeling my home, going back to school, starting my own business, etc. I got back to making my own wine in 1992. The "kits" had come a long way and the wines I was making in the early 90s were really terrific. It was making wine from a kit that made me realize that you could get a really nice bottle of wine for under $10 a bottle.
I specialize writing about wines that cost under $50. I write honestly about bubbly or sparkling, red, white, red and white also known as roseŽ, kosher and everything in between.
P.S.
If you are a distributor or vineyard and would like me to do a honest wine review, submit a comment to me in the box below. I require two bottles of each wine you would like reviewed. I hope you contact me with your request for a review. If you are interested in having a white paper written, IŽd love to hear from you too!
