Sangria
Guest Author - Paula S.W. Laurita

When people hear fun party wine, they often think of Sangria!

Perfect for any poolside gathering. Making your own Sangria is easy.

In a pitcher or punch bowl mix the following ingredients together with cracked ice:

  • 32 ounces dry red wine--Please use a dry red. The fruit will provide its own sweetness.
  • 2 ounces brandy
  • 8 ounces orange juice (fresh is not as sweet as concentrate, so be careful)
  • 4 ounces lemon juice
  • 8 ounces soda water
  • 4 orange slices
  • 4 lime slices
  • 4 lemon slices

Serve in chilled cocktail glasses. For a fun variation, add sparkling wine. The perfect 4th of July sparkler!

Special from Geerlings & Wade!
