Healing In Your Mouth

Healing In Your Mouth
Life and death are in the power of your own tongue. Would you speak more positively if you knew that it could have a direct effect on your health? Learn how to receive healing from your own mouth.

The words that come out of our mouth have so much more of an effect on us than we think. We can reap the benefits from our words or speak negative things over our lives.

We often speak negative things about ourselves or others without realizing it. This could be the result of self-doubt. When we begin to realize who we are in Christ, we will begin to speak powerful words that heal and deliver. These words that will come out of our mouth will not only heal ourselves but can bring healing to others also.

Before going any further, we must discuss the issue of faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. We must expect something. As a child of God, we must expect a healing. We must put a demand on the anointing. If you say that you want to be healed, but do not expect it, then you won’t be healed.

One thing that disappointed Jesus was no or little faith. We must have faith. Our faith is not in ourselves or our abilities. Our faith must be in Jesus. We must believe that he can do what he said that he can do.

The woman with the issue of blood in the bible believed that Jesus could heal. She pressed through the crowd with expectation. She believed that if she could just touch the hem of his garment, she would be healed. When she touched Jesus, he said, “who touched me?” I am sure that many people in the crowd touched him, but he knew that the touch from her was different. She had faith that she would be healed if she touched him and she was in fact healed.

We must expect something from Jesus. The same is true for doubt. If you doubt that you will receive a blessing, then you won’t. Do not get discouraged. The bible said to ask, seek, and knock. Matthew 7:7-12 tells us ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

You have a right to healing because Jesus died on the cross just for your healing. Speak healing scriptures over your life. Meditate on and pray healing scriptures such as these: By his stripes you are healed. I shall live and not die. I cry out to the Lord and he heals me. The joy of the Lord is my strength. Remember that the Lord answers prayers.

Be Blessed
