No Weapon

No Weapon
All of us have gone through tough situations at one time or another. Sometimes it is hard to keep a smile on your face or hold your head up. It is in those times we need someone to encourage us and tell us we will make it through and one day we will look back and it will only be a memory. Sometimes when there is no one there to encourage us we have to encourage ourselves with the Word of God.

When it looks scary and we don’t know where to turn. We have to stand on the Word of God to encourage and remind ourselves where our strength comes from.

Psalms 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (KJV)

Read 1 Samuel which talks about David hiding in a cave and being joined by 600 men who sought him out but later when things went bad and their camp was raided and their wives and children taken they turned on him. Can you imagine how David must have felt?

1 Samuel 30:6-8

Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God. (NKJV)

That’s right when things were bad and none of his people were there to encourage him, he had to encourage himself by standing on the strength of God and His word.

Memorize this scripture to help you in tough times

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (NKJV)

When we go through tough times in our life, we need to be encouraged that God is still with us. We have to remember that God has a plan and He will bring us through if we stand strong standing on the solid foundation of His Word.

Always stand firm and remember...

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. (KJV)

God Bless!
