A webinar is a seminar that is broadcast on the Internet. An adoption webinar is a webinar devoted to educating people about all aspects of adoption. From domestic adoption to international adoption to foster care, there is a webinar out there to help you understand more about adoption.

Webinars are a convenient way to explore domestic and international adoption. Many adoption agencies offer free webinars to those wanting to learn more about adoption topics. Topics include getting started, adopting an older child, trans-racial adoption, talking to your child about adoption, and adjustment issues, just to name a few.

Before signing up for a webinar, confirm it’s going to cover the topics you’re interested in learning about. For example, if you have your heart set on international adoption, attending a webinar on domestic adoption won’t get you much further. However, it might help to learn more about domestic adoption, especially if you’re on the fence about which program to pursue.

Families Thru International Adoption is hosting an informational webinar on Thursday, November 17th, 2010 at 7 pm. According to their website, the following topics will be covered:
