La Quinta Resort & Club

The La Quinta Resort & Club sits at the base of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains, in a world of it's own, where guests escape to relaxaction and recreation. It is the longest running resort in the Palm Springs desert area, amidst 45 acres of orange, lemon and grapefruit trees, towering palms, and beautiful grounds with colorful flower gardens.

Over the years, the resort has attracted some of Hollywood's brightest stars, including Bette Davis, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, Katherine Hepburn, Greta Garbo and Shirley Temple. Past guests also include political dignitaries, business leaders and sports heroes.

La Quinta Resort & Club has 800 guest rooms and suites situated in Spanish-style casitas with garden or mountain views. Especially inviting are the 42 pools and 52 whirlpool spas conveniently located just outside your door.

In addition to five world class golf courses, La Quinta is a premier tennis club, rated Top 20 by Tennis Magazine, and named to The Gold List by Conde Nast Traveler. The tennis facility has 18 hard courts (10 lighted for night play), 3 clay courts (Har-Tru) and 2 grass courts. The staff includes USPTA certified instructors that offer private and group lessons, as well as daily clinics, private video and junior tennis. Tennis Coordinators are available to set up a match for you, singles or doubles, on grass, clay or hard courts.

The Coachella Valley is a beautiful paradise in the Southern California desert. You can always find someone looking for a tennis partner and there are many nice public facilities to pick up a game. In addition to tennis, the Palm Springs area is an oasis of resort style living with many of the world's top golf courses within a 20 mile radius. This is an ideal destination for the entire family.

If you're looking to tune up your tennis game, or just want to play some fun doubles and meet some new people, give La Quinta a try. The resort is dedicated to making your tennis experience unforgettable, and they deliver on their promise.
