Anime Shows Volume 4 is an ebook that compiles some of the overviews I have written for the BellaOnline Anime site. Instead of having to search through various subsections of the Anime site to find a particular anime overview, you can have them conveniently located in one place.
The first chapter of the ebook, "Current Anime," includes anime overviews from the "Current Anime" subsection of the Anime site. My definition of "current anime" is that a property has to be less than twenty years old. However, it should be noted that some of the anime properties covered in this chapter are currently not airing on television anywhere. The anime properties covered in this chapter are: Angel Heart, Animation Runner Kuromi, Ballad of a Shinigami, Bartender, Black Butler, Bokurano, Buzzer Beater, Ceres, Celestial Legend, Cluster Edge, Coyote Ragtime Show, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Demonbane, Devil May Cry, Elemental Gelade, Ghost Hunt, Gravitation, Great Teacher Onizuka, Gunslinger Girl, Hell Girl, Hetalia: Axis Powers, Hikaru no Go, Himawari!, Itsudatte My Santa!, Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl, Jyu-Oh-Sei, Kaikan Phrase, King of Bandit Jing, Lemon Angel Project, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Manabi Straight!, Meine Liebe, Mezzo DSA, Monster, Night Head Genesis, Paranoia Agent, Pokemon: Black & White, Pumpkin Scissors, Puppet Master Sakon, Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School, Shining Tears X Wind, Shugo Chara!, Sola, Soul Eater, Soul Link, Star Ocean EX, Tokyo Majin, Welcome to the N.H.K., Wolf's Rain, and Xenosaga: The Animation.
The second chapter of the ebook includes anime overviews from the "Classic Anime" subsection of the Anime site. My definition of "classic anime" is that a show has to be at least twenty years old. The anime properties covered in this chapter include: Battle Angel Alita, Sherlock Hound, and Tekkaman Blade.
The overviews contain information about each of the anime properties included in the ebook. More often than not, I also try to include commentary on who I believe the target audience for these properties are, in addition to the basic background information about the show. It is my hope that when readers read this ebook, they can learn about a new anime property that they may not have known anything about before. It is also my hope that parents can utilize this ebook as a resource to help determine what anime properties may or may not be suitable for their children.
Anime Shows Volume 4 is 67 pages in length, and is being sold for $1.99 US. Payment is accepted via PayPal.
