What Causes Dry Feet
Frequently, men and women look forward to wearing their favorite shoes and sandals. They take good care of their footwear and might neglect their feet. It is a common fact that people neglect foot care. Actually there are dozens of ways that people use, abuse, and neglect their feet. Let�s take a closer look at what cause dry feet.

Dry cracked feet are screaming for some tender loving care and moisturizing. The body requires a sufficient amount of water to keep skin moisturized. Make sure that you are drinking adequate amounts of water during the day. It is also important to avoid soaking the feet in extremely hot water or taking really hot showers or baths. This is very drying to the feet. Remember to avoid harsh soaps with drying chemicals. Use a moisturizing gentle soap on those delicate feet. Don't stop there. Get in the habit of using a thick oily moisturizer on the feet daily and after a dip in hot water to avoid dryness.
Here are more tips: Every night, gently rub some petroleum jelly on the bottoms of the feet and slip on some cotton socks. This will seal in moisture and help to soften skin on feet while you are sleeping.
