Biography of Sukekiyo Kameyama
Sukekiyo Kameyama was born on November 9, 1954 in Miyagi Prefecture. He provided a number of voices in anime over his career. In addition to anime voices, he provided the voice for Winnie the Pooh in the Japanese release of the Kingdom Hearts II videogame.

In the 1980s, he could be heard as Anli in Castle in the Sky, Roku Dosu in the Devilman OAV, Mudaro Honekishi and Muzo Honekishi in Highschool! Kimengumi, Lao in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes OAV, Kidokoro Hayato in Magical Angel Creamy Mami, Meso Meso in Magical Fairy Persia, Akira Matsuo in Magical Star Magical Emi, Mitsuo and Asuna's Father in Maison Ikkoku, Voice of the Light in the Majokko Club Yoningumi – A Kuukan Kara no Alien X OAV, Maris' Father in the Maris the Chojo OAV, Tony in The New Adventures of Kimba the White Lion, Inukawa in Norakuro-kun, Karataro in Ranpou, Pierre Bonaparte in Tokusou Kihei Dorvack, Alien in Tsuideni Tonchinkan, and Daibutsu in Ultra B. He also appeared in Aoki Ryusei SPT Layzner, Bosco Daiboken and Urusei Yatsura.

In the 1990s, he could be heard as Eldest and Kimura-papa in Akachan to Boku, Gilda in Armored Dragon Legend Villqust, Michael Yamada in Bakuen Campus Guardress, Suttopoke in Catnapped! The Movie, Kirara Kouzuke in Edokko Boy: Gattem Taro, Catchman in the Figures of Happiness OAV, Ghost in Gozonji! Gekko Kamen-kun, Gobaiji Gunki in The Legend of the Dog Warriors: The Hakkenden OAV, Commentator in Magic User's Club, Cameraman in the Minky Momo in Yume ni Kakeru Hashi OAV, Police Chief Muraki Uramura in Rurouni Kenshin, Hachi in the Sakura Wars 2 OAV, Heisuke in Soar High! Isami, Sonna Banana in Tomatoman, and Clerk in The Vision of Escaflowne.

In the 2000s, he could be heard as Churnow in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Come-Come Naitou in Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo The Movie 2, Captain West in the Master Keaton OAV, Salaman-sensei in Midnight Horror School, DJ in Parappa the Rapper, Officer Mimura in Patlabor WXIII, Rangu in Pokemon, Raul in Red Garden, Porky in Saiyuki, Uohori in Samurai Champloo, Hiromi Kaname in Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children, Yagyuu Munenori in Shura no Toki: Age of Chaos, Dr. Ichiro in Zatch Bell, and Masanobu Tsuji in Zipang. He also appeared in Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence.

Sadly, Kameyama passed away on January 26, 2013 at the age of 58 due to pneumonia after suffering from malignant lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, Kayoko.
