Portland Fairview RV Park Review
About the Park
Portland Fairview RV Park has over 400 full hookup, 30 and 50 amp sites that can accommodate any sized rig. They offer affordable daily, weekly and monthly rates. Amenities include a clubhouse, pool, fitness room, two laundry centers, four bathrooms, a playground area, horseshoe pits and cable television hookups at each site. They also offer wireless internet services for tech savvy RVers.
If you are an avid walker, then you’re going to love the terrain in the park, it’s great for a daily stroll. There are five levels so many of the sites are terraced with eye-catching views of neighboring Washington State. The park has neatly manicured lawns with picnic tables at each site. A small pond, complete with a waterfall, two resident sturgeons, and a family of ducks serves as a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Also plentiful throughout the park are lavender and rose bushes which help to complete the attractive landscaping.
Being located less than a mile from Interstate 84; it makes an ideal location for daily sightseeing trips. To the east is a part of the northwest that is known for its exquisite beauty. If you want to do some exploring, there is a wealth of nearby attractions including Multnomah Falls located in the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Also less than one hour away is Mt. Hood, Oregon’s highest peak and home to year round recreational activity. The ocean beaches are just a few hours drive as well.
And if it’s city life you crave, Portland is only 20 minutes to the west. There you can partake in many activities, including shopping, dining, visiting the many city gardens, catching a sporting event, or spending an afternoon at the popular Portland Saturday Market.
The only major downside is that the park is located adjacent to railroad tracks and several trains pass through on a daily basis.
