Adoption Agency Spotlight Feature

Adoption Agency Spotlight Feature
I’m thrilled to announce a new feature on the Adoption site at Bella Online. It’s called Adoption Agency Spotlight, and the purpose is to give you a glimpse of adoption agencies here in the United States.

If you’ve visited the Adoption forum, you’ll notice we don’t allow personal or professional adoption advertisements. This is for your protection, as there is no way that we can confirm the legitimacy of every potential adoption advertisement on the forum. We do allow adoption agencies to post information about conferences and workshops.

However, I still think it’s important to let you know about all of the amazing adoption agencies out there, and hopefully this will help you in your research. Down the line, I hope to have a comprehensive listing of adoption agencies for you to research further.

In the meantime, I am going to incorporate adoption agencies into the site, not as advertisements, but more as an informative look into what adoption programs agencies offer. Topics featured in the spotlight articles include:
  • Name of Adoption Agency

  • Description of programs offered

  • Workshops or webinars offered

  • Length of time in business

  • Advice to those just starting the adoption process

  • Advice to those on choosing an adoption agency

  • Agency address

  • Phone Number

  • Website

  • Social networking names (facebook, twitter, etc.)
If you are an adoption agency that would like to be featured in the “Adoption Agency Spotlight” series please contact me. Additionally, if you would like to see the agency you have used in the past featured, please contact me as well.

In a few weeks, you’ll notice the subjects on the Adoption site will be re-organized to become more user-friendly. I’m excited about adding this new feature to the site, and can’t wait for you to see other big changes coming your way!

As always, if you have an adoption story to tell, either from a birth parent or adoptive parent experience, please contact me for an interview. Additionally, if you are an adoption professional, and would like to give readers a glimpse into your job, please contact me for another upcoming series. More about that next week!
