Treating Menopause

Menopause is a real life changer for women.

Menopause commonly starts when a woman is in her late forties to early fifties. A woman's monthly cycle ends around the same time. Real menopause starts when a woman starts getting hot. . . real hot. . . in the middle of the day or night. Hormones in a woman's body are going through enormous changes during that cycle. Typically, women complain about hot flashes, weight gain, irritability, even forgetfulness. Women refer to menopause as the "change of life" time. The perfectly menopausal years are a real life changer for women. True, it is the end of the reproductive cycle, but it is also a new beginning for women.

Black cohosh, wild yams, don quai, and valerian root are also good sources containing phytoestrogens. Studies show that some women claim that the natural herbs help ease hot flashes.
