Aromatherapy and Your Emotional Well Being
We all experience challenges in life, whether we consider them good or bad. Some of these challenges can wreak havoc on our emotional and spiritually well-being.

All of us want to feel and experience joy and happiness, however it's not always easy for us to achieve. Aromatherapy can assist us in being able to find solutions in balancing our emotions and spiritual selves.

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils used to assist you in balancing your physical and spiritual self by using these oils. It's a natural technique that's non-invasive, yet it has the ability to affect the wellbeing of you as a whole person. This is done through your sense of smell.

This happens through the effect that aromas have on your brain by way of your olfactory gland. It also happens through the direct effects of the botanicals from which the oils are derived.

Aromatherapy Blends for Emotional Balance:

Blends: If you add 8 to 12 drops of essential oils to an ounce of carrier oil ( jojoba, sweet almond oils, Shea oil or grapeseed oil), you've got a ready made blend of oils. You can add a few drops of this potion to bath salts and Shea butter, immerse yourself into a tub of warm water and enjoy the beauty of the blend and the bath.

For a Good Nights Sleep:
2 drops of Sage oil
1 drop of Ylang Ylang oil
20 drops of Neroli oil

Peace of Mind:
10 drops of Lavender oil
6 drops of Chamomile oil

Essential oils that are used for relaxation and emotional stability are:

Lavender cleanses and soothes your spirit. It aids and assist you in relieving anger, exhaustion and fatigue.

Sandalwood aids in lifting depression. It's very relaxing and helps relieve tension and anxiety. Sandalwood is a god choice for relieving insomnia.

Chamomile is known as a relaxing essential oil. It's used for treating psychological problems. In general it's been known to help people with tension as well as stomach problems and headaches.

There are so many more essential oils that are said to be used in aromatherapy well being. Continue to study on your own and try as many of these oils as your budget permits.
