I have a confession to make, running BellaOnline’s Unemployment site was not my first choice. I wanted the business coach site, but when that one wasn’t available I proposed an Unemployment site because I thought it was a topic that would get a lot of hits and gain publicity for my book, Pink Slip 101: Surviving Unemployment.

This is the third month the site’s been online and I have generated a lot of hits, but I haven’t generated a lot of publicity for my book. To be honest I’ve been disappointed and disillusioned and was wondering what was the point of continuing to spend hours working on the site when it wasn’t generating the results that I was hoping for in the terms of fan letters or book contracts.

A few days of stewing about that had me realize that I was being incredibly hypocritical because one of my major goals in life is to open the “Fishing Academy” to provide assistance to people who are hardworking, but are down on their luck and who might not have had the breaks that I’ve had in life. I realized that by running BellaOnline’s Unemployment site I was being given my dream: the opportunity to help good people who want to help themselves. I don’t currently have the financial resources to open my Fishing Academy, but I do have a little extra time and the expertise to help people through my writing and that’s what this site needs to be: my way to give back and help other people.

Please help me fulfill this mission by telling me what you want / need to see within the pages of this site. Do you want articles about saving money, making money, landing the perfect job, etc.? Please tell me and I’ll do my best to help you.
