Owen Hart the pro wrestler was killed in a stunt mishap during a wrestling show in 1999 at the age of 34.

Captain William Kidd the legendary Scottish pirate was executed in 1701 at the age of 56.

John D. Rockefeller the entrepreneur/philanthropist passed away in 1937 at the age of 97.

Sam Snead the pro golfer passed away in 2002 at the age of 89.

Linda Thompson the actress who starred on TV’s “Hee Haw” and songwriter was born in 1950.

Shelly West the country singer who had a hit single with “You’re The Reason God Made Oklahoma” (with David Frizzell) was born in 1958.
