Fragile X syndrome is from a mutation on the X chromosone, affecting all ethnic groups, males and females.
This syndrome can cause mental impairment and in some cases learning disabilities such as ADHD and autism.
Common physical characteristics include a long face, large ears, flat feet and hyperextensible finger joints.
