John Mark Karr Not Charged in Jon Benet Murder

John Mark Karr arrived in Boulder Colorado Thursday where authorities gained samples of his hair and saliva for DNA testing. The DNA testing happened at the Denver Police Department's Crime lab. Karr’s DNA compared with DNA from the Ramsey murder scene in December 1996, has removed Karr as a suspect. John Mark Karr’s DNA did not match the foreign DNA left on Jon Benet Ramsey’s body. The blanket that covered Jon Benet’s murdered body in her Boulder Colorado basement contained foreign hair fibers. Those fibers did not match any of the Ramsey’s family, friends or nearly hundred people police tested, and they do not match Karr. Jon Benet’s killer is still out there somewhere.

The Prosecutors of Boulder Colorado have dropped their case against John Mark Karr, who is no longer in police care. There are no charges filed against Karr in the ten-year-old murder case of six year-old Jon Benet Ramsey. The only murder in Boulder that year happened the day after Christmas, and was Jon Benet. Police admit they immediately focused their investigation on John and Patsy Ramsey, feeling they were responsible for their daughter’s disappearance that day. Failing to follow proper protocol in securing the crime scene, on their arrival, has hampered Jon Benet’s case from the beginning.

John Mark Karr says he was with Jon Benet Ramsey when she died, and that she died accidentally by suffocation. Unfortunately, there is no physical DNA or other evidence to place him at to the scene of the murder. The ten-year-old murder case of Jon Benet Ramsey remains unsolved. The case is as confusing today as it was a week ago when unexpectedly a man named John Mark Karr admitted, “I loved Jon Benet and her death was an accident.” What makes some one say they did a horrible crime like kill a little girl when they did not?

I pray that Patsy Ramsey has finally found peace with her daughter Jon Benet. As any parent who has ever buried a child knows, death cannot stop the truelove of a parent it can only delay it for a while. For Jon Benet who would be sixteen years old this year, I pray for angels above Jon Benet, angels below Jon Benet, angels all around Jon Benet to keep her safe. Who killed Jon Benet? Some one knows the answer to this ten-year-old murder mystery. Please help solve this case. Jon Benet deserves to rest in peace.
