The count down has begun. Another four years hangs in the balance. Our country (USA, Britain, Iraq) is at war, the economy is feeling a little unstable and the Christmas season will see many families celebrating with loved ones right in the line of fire. We have seen thousands killed in one fell swoop and we are reminded that people are persecuted and tortured around the world.


Time to vote. Time to lift our voices and be heard.
The Voice of the Martyrs says that 1 in 5 Evangelical Christians actually vote. Many don’t think their voice can be heard over the electoral college and some think that since everything is in God’s hands, it doesn’t matter because God will bring about what He wants to. Many think they will be raptured soon and so aren’t concerned. I say forget all this. A perfect example from The Voice of the Martyrs is above. If Christians can affect change in a country that is new to Democracy, then how much more will Christians change things here?
