Five Powerful Herbs for Women
Some alternative medicine sites claim that certain herbs are very powerful and the cure for many health problems. This might be disputed by many medical authorities, but alternative medical professionals insist that research shows that herbs have healing power. Many general medical authorities believe the healing powers associated with herbs are merely a placebo effect and any benefits received are mild. Well, the conflict rages on over the validity of many herbs to heal. I'm thinking that if a herb held the capacity to heal to a degree, why not give it a try? Of course, don't test any herb without first consulting with your doctor. It is important to first figure out if there is a medical condition that requires medical care.
If your doctor thinks that it is safe for you to try a herbal remedy proceed cautiously, and give the herbs a try. Remember to always buy herbs from a reliable source to avoid any medical issues later on. Let's take a look at five powerful herbs for women.
Aloe Vera - There is a ton of literature and research in the medical journals on Aloe Vera capacity to heal wounds and burns. Aloe Vera has also been recommended for internal stomach ailments. Medical authorities warn the public to avoid consuming the Aloe Vera internally in gel or juice form because it might cause severe cramping and diarrhea.
Black Cohosh - This popular herb is known by other names such as snake root and rattle root. The herb has a long history and research shows that the Native Americans boiled the plant and consumed the juice for various health problems ranging from a sore throat to rheumatism. Modern research shows that the herb relieves menopausal symptoms in women because of its capacity to mimic serotonin, a chemical that is produced in the brain.

Red Clover - Red Clover was a major component in many health preparations a hundred years ago. In fact, red clover tea was consumed as a general tonic for several health ailments. Modern studies show that Red Clover is rich with isoflavones and that it reduces menopausal symptoms in women.
Soy - Alternative medicine research on herbal remedies show evidence that soy contains powerful isoflavones which mimic a woman's missing hormones that cause the hot flashes. Women who took soy supplements reported a reduction in hot flashes. Many main stream health care professionals still suggest using due caution when taking soy products. What might appear helpful for some might be harmful for others. Always consult your doctor before considering taking herbal or alternative medicine remedies.
