Holiday Cranberry Pork Roast Recipe

Holiday Cranberry Pork Roast Recipe
Too busy to stay around in the kitchen to watch the main dish just before guests arrive? Slow cookers are our friends year round, and especially during the busy holiday season. The following colorful, slightly spicy Christmas Cranberry Pork Roast cooks in the slow cooker while you complete other tasks, and turns out moist, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Pork sirloin roasts don’t take long to cook, even in the slow cooker, so you may opt to put your roast in frozen. Otherwise, 2-3 hours is the maximum cooking time needed, so this festive dish is quick.

You can easily adjust the spiciness of the sauce by adding or subtracting the number of jalapeno peppers added. The heat in the recipe as written is quite mild, and suitable for both children and wimps. The finished dish is very attractive, with the red cranberries and green jalapeno peppers, so it’s perfect for serving throughout the holidays.
