Dan Paxton's Summer Cooler Recipe

Dan Paxton's Summer Cooler Recipe
Looking for a refreshing beverage that everyone will like, and has no calories? My neighbor, Dan Paxton, makes the following Dan Paxton’s Summer Cooler which is not only pretty to look at, but also delicious to drink. While the flavors of herbal tea called for in the recipe are his favorite, you can use your favorite flavors. I like to add lemon or lime ginger herbal tea, which I get in the UK; however, there are actually dozens of delicious fruit-flavored herbal teas that you can use, according to your individual tastes. Just peruse the tea aisle, and you’ll find something you like.

This beverage is a beautiful red color, and can be garnished with summer flowers or mint from your garden (the mint also adds flavor). You can serve it in a punchbowl or a festive beverage dispenser (triple or quadruple the recipe to fill them up). It’s perfect to serve at holiday get-togethers, such as Memorial Day or the Fourth of July, as well as anytime a refreshing delicious beverage is to be served. Let me know what your favorite flavors of tea make this your own summer drink.
