I do not like having to write an article like this and some of you may wonder how an article like this fits into the Senior Issues category. Well, it fits because we are Americans and we all like to think we have a reasonably long time to live. Unfortunately, my research in several areas and on several fronts have uncovered some things that need to be pointed out. I seriously doubt that a great number of officials would like to have this information get out.

First of all, if the media tells you there were never any WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction) in Iraq, they are lying through their teeth. The United States made one several big mistakes when they set out to take Saddam out of power. They gave him adequate warning to dispose of the WMDs. Saddam was an evil man but he was not stupid. So he simply moved all of them to Syria and that is where they are now, believe it or not.

Iran is planning an EMP attack on the United States, whether anyone in government will admit it or not. They think that is the way they will take the United States out. But what they don't know WILL hurt them in the long run because they probably do not even know what an EMPPI is. That stands for an EMP Pulse Interceptor. I dare say that not 1% of our entire population here in the U.S. even know about this device. It is a device created and maintained to be put into service the minute Iran gets stupid enough to try an EMP attack. But enough of that.

Osama bin Laden plans to take out the U.S. in four stages. Stage one was the twin towers, to hit us hard economically. That worked to some point as it cost us a ton of money. The next stage was to increase insurgent activity in Iraq and later elsewhere, to make sure we spend a lot of money on weapons, manpower, etc. Economically, that is really hurting us. As for the insurgents: Iran and Syria are responsible for training the insurgents, that happen to be from Iraq, and sending them back to kill and maim our soldiers to keep democracy from gaining a good foot hold.

Stage three is now in processing. Take a look at the cost of gasoline. Where do you think we get our oil? Every time an insurgent attacks a pipeline, the cost of gasoline goes up again. And Iran can hurt us economically, believe me. The one pipeline that goes through the straits from Saudi Arabia just happen to go through Iran and they can disrupt the flow of oil at will! If it were not for that, the United States could have taken action on them.

Why do insurgents blow themselves up. Study their history and their lives. They are so poor and their living conditions so bad, that it is not hard for them to believe they will be rewarded in Heaven for killing others by suicide. I seriously doubt that there are very many Americans who really have any idea of how bad conditions are for them and how inhumane they are treated. They have been taught for hundreds of years of a religion that has no room for forgiveness or love for mankind outside of their own. They are told a better life awaits them in Heaven if they put on a belt and blow themselves up after walking into a crowd of people. They can't improve their lives, so they welcome death more than life and kill Americans in the process.

Osama bin Laden has a goal to get the price of oil to $140.00 a barrel. He is well on his way to achieving that goal. He seems to think nothing can stop him and Islam seems to be winning a war because our government and leaders will not do what is necessary to win that war. They WILL NOT defeat the insurgents by helping to finance them at the gas pumps. Every time we fill our car we are feeding money to the insurgents because they are controlling the price of gasoline.

So what is the answer? One answer for sure is the technology we have in this nation which has been hidden and they do not want you to know about. They have the technology to get 300, 400 and even 500 miles to a gallon of gas, but do you think we will ever see that? BUT, that is one answer because that kind of technology will cause us to use less gasoline and the insurgents, Iran and Syria, and probably Saudia Arabia will not be raking in the cash they are now.

Our days may be numbered and Islam and the Insurgents mean business. Those who have the knowledge, expertise, and ability to use and distribute our technology to the people will probably wait too long and then it will be too late. Procrastination has been the downfall of so many things it is unbelievable. And people in this country may not believe the United States can be defeated in any war in any way. BUT THEY CAN BE WRONG! ROME fell and they were as powerful in their day as we are now. So how did Rome fall. We are doing some things Rome did and we have been kicking God out of everything He gave to all of us.

I urge all of you reading this right now to make sure you are right with God or get right with God, because time may be shorter than we think. The statement "like a thief in the night," may not be made by God. It may be made by Iran or whoever.

The United States could never be attacked! The twin towers fell! Our Navy is powerful beyond belief! And then Pearl Harbor! Isn't it funny that with all our technology and our brilliant minds in this world, we can launch space vehicles to go to the Moon, and explore that which we have no business messing with. Yet, we cannot seem to create something which does not depend on the flow of oil through a country like Iran--a country which is contemplating attacking us and trying to destroy us. As they do this, they can make it hard on us by making sure we pay an arm and a leg for gasoline. And most of the money we pay for that gasoline ends up in the pockets of those who want to destroy us and are working at it every day.

When are we going to wise up and when is our government going to start using common sense, intelligence, etc. The next time you see a TV broadcase and the Republicans and Democrats BICKER back and forth and fight over things in the sandbox, say a few prayers because these are the guys who let us down when the United States may one day soon go down to defeat. And all because of ego and their inability to know what is right and wrong.

Our days may be numbered is the name of this article. The question is......WHEN!
