Srping A Time of Renewal

Srping  A Time of Renewal
As the seasons come and go, our lives are also changing and evolving. For Christians, Spring symbolizes a time of renewal. In Spring annual plants start to sprout and trees start to sprout new leaves and other leaves change colors turning towards green. This is a season when there is a lot of pollen in the air spreading seeds for new growth evidenced to the chagrin of many all over their vehicles daily including immediately after being washed and anything else stationary causing problems unfortunately for many individuals with allergies.

God’s word gives us the ability to change and become a new creature in him. He forgives our past indiscretions and changes our hearts and minds to do things differently. His word gives us direction and instructions on how to handle any situation. As we rely on His mercy, grace, and favor we can find peace.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 (NKJV)

His word gives us direction and instructions on how to handle any situation. As we rely on His mercy, grace, and favor we can find peace.

Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As raindrops on the tender herb,
And as showers on the grass. Deuteronomy 32:2 (NKJV)

We are God’s fruit and as we embrace His word and walk in the path that has been laid out for us, we are able to blossom and therefore prosper. Prosperity includes not only wealth, but health and the ability to find peace and rest in the Lord in all seasons.

He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:3 (NKJV)

As we go through Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer, we can be assured that God is always there and is unchanging.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
So we may boldly say:
“The LORD is my helper;
I will not fear. (Hebrews 13:5-6)

As we go through each season, we should continue to grow closer to Him and continue to study His word as to grow stronger and steadfast in faith which allows us to maintain calm even during storms in our lives. Praise Him all seasons.

Blessings always!
