Advanced Adagio Combinations 25 - 29
25. Chassé and lift in Three attitudes
preparation: 5th position, RF front, facing 5
cts 1,2 - chassé to corner 2, and lift L leg into attitude croisé, L arm up
cts 3,4 - promenade on R to face fwd into attitude effacé L arm up
cts 5,6 - promenade on R to face corner 1, attitude effacé, L arm up
ct 7 - extend L leg into arabesque on a plié, L arm down into 2nd arabesque
ct 8 - pas de bourrée dessous to change feet reverse all to corner 1
26. Pirouette endehors from 4th - double, triple
preparation: point to 2nd and 4th
double and triple pirouettes
27. Pirouette endehors from 2nd
preparation: relevé 5th and spring down on LF -
RF demi-second, relevé on LF, end in 2nd position plié,
single and double turns,
repeat to L,
or: relevé 5th and spring down, relevé on LF,
RF demi-second, end in plié in 2nd poistion
28. Pirouette endedans
preparation: face corner 2, 5th position RF front, chassé to attitude à terre,
L arm attitude position,
ct 1 - relevé on front foot left leg attitude en l'air
ct 2 - drop into demi plié on supporting leg, working leg into long arabesque,
arms 5th en avant, in front of shoulders
ct 3 - rise up to 4th position, legs straight, R arm 5th en haut, L arm second
ct 4 - R arm second
cts &5 - R arm down through 1st and up to 5th en avant,
demi plié, prepare for pirouette
ct 6 - ronde de jambe L leg endedans from back to second position,
foot then in to ankle and turn endedans one and a quarter turns to face corner 1,
LF front (if possible do 2 and a quarter turns)
cts 7,8 - hold LF 5th position front
repeat to corner 1 from preparation
29. Pirouette endedans from 4th to 4th
preparation: face 5, 4th position, demi plié, weight to front foot,
arm of front foot en avant, other arm in 2nd,
count for each is '&1',
to turn, push off from back foot, ronde de jambe back leg to 2nd,
while turning endedans to face 5, the arms meet in 5th en avant on turn,
at end of turn legs and arms will be ready to turn to other side,
end each pirouette in demi plié ready to begin again
