Warning! Possible Adoption Scam Attempts Circulating Via E-Mail
Guest Author - Karen Ledbetter

One writer claimed to be from Nigeria, another from China. Both e-mails were very similar in that they stated they were a parent looking for an adoptive home in which to place a young child. There was also a request for money.

I see red flags all over this one. If you receive such e-mail, I recommend proceeding very cautiously, if at all.

Remember that you are your own best protection against falling victim to an adoption scam.
