You may want to mix your creations in a small pitcher for pouring ease when they are completely blended. You will also need wooden or bamboo spoons for this set of recipes. Set all equipment used aside so that they don’t go back in the pantry for use with food. When the recipes are made, you may want to put them in a cool, dark place to let them settle.
The recipes here are not named. The naming of your fragrances will be totally up to you. That is part of the creative process. It may not hurt to name them after the person you are giving them to. If you are not giving them to anyone, then you can name your favorite after yourself.
This first recipe is an aftershave gel for a man. Sometimes men can be hard to find gifts for, but this easy to make recipe should be very well received.
MENS AFTERSHAVE #1
You’ll need:
½ cup aloe vera gel
2 tablespoons vodka
1 tablespoon orange flower water
2 teaspoons witch hazel
10 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
This next recipe is cologne for a man. If he likes sandalwood, this should go over well after his aftershave.
MENS COLOGNE #1
You’ll need:
½ cup vodka
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
1 tablespoon rose water
10 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
PERFUME #1
You’ll need:
4 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
4 drops musk fragrance oil
3 drops frankincense fragrance oil
2 teaspoons jojoba oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
PERFUME #2
You will need:
2 cups distilled water
3 tablespoons vodka
5 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
10 drops bergamot fragrance oil
10 drops cassis fragrance oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
PERFUME #3
You will need:
2 cups distilled water
3 tablespoons vodka
5 drops everlasting fragrance oil
10 drops peony fragrance oil
10 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
With this perfume comes your chance to get a little creative. It calls for your favorite fragrance oil. If you don’t have one, you could experiment, or wait until you find one that you feel will go with this creation.

You’ll need:
½ cup distilled water
¼ cup vodka
15 drops of your favorite fragrance oil
4 drops sandalwood fragrance oil
Place all ingredients in a bowl or pitcher and stir well. When thoroughly blended, place in your chosen bottle.
