For The Graduate!

Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

This month, all around our country, young men and women are graduating and entering a whole new dimension of their lives. I don’t say a new world because it is the same world; just not as protected as it has been for them in the past. All over, there are people who are wondering how they are going to apply what they’ve learned to their new life. I think these words are the best. The Lord will always guide us and lead us into what is exactly right for us. It is hard for young people to let someone else tell them what to do. It’s hard for them to trust someone else to make the right decision especially since all their lives, up to this point, someone else has been doing just that. Jesus has the answers and is always on our side. In Him there is no doubt, no fear, no trembling. If God is for us, who can be against us? If you walk in the light of God’s Word, then there is always someone who does know the right thing. I pray that our young people grow in the knowledge of this understanding every day.

Psalm 31:14-15
But as for me, I trust in you O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and those who persecute me.

Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ at all times. Take it all to the foot of the cross and drop it there. He will take it up and carry the burden for you. When confused by the road to take, take it to Him in prayer. Look up, then look around. Listen for His voice in your heart. You can’t go wrong. Remember the enemy will try to muddle the waters, simply believe that the Lord will never forsake you, He will be the lamp unto your feet and the light for your path. This Father who loves you will never leave you. Be blessed.
