German Bowle Wine Punch

The best way to describe this drink is as a German version of Sangria. Itīs one of the best party drinks.

This favorite can be made with a variety of fruits. In the winter you can use frozen fruit if fresh is not available.

German Bowle Wine Punch

Ingredidents

  • 6 peaches, sliced
  • 1 quart strawberries
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup sherry
  • 4 bottles dry white wine
  • block of ice for punch

Directfions

  1. Place the fruit in a large bowl and sprinkle with the powdered sugar.
  2. Pour the sherry over the fruit and allow the stand for at least 6 hours.
  3. In a large punch bowl place the ice block. Add the wine, sugared fruit, and sherry to the bowl and mix.
  4. Serve in cups with pieces of the fruit.
