Fourth of July Theme Ideas for Newsletters


Fourth of July theme ideas for newsletters can be fun and creative as well as patriotic in nature. Since Fourth of July falls in the first week of July Independence day becomes the focal point of the U.S. It is the day we celebrate our freedom of independence. This day remain highly, if not more, significant since 911. Our military has been called to war. Soldiers have lost their lives defending the freedoms and independence of other countries.

We are also using the Fourth of July as a primary focus and theme of this article for the beginning of July. What is written here is in no way exclusive to the various ideas for the entire month of July for there are more ideas and even special days to celebrate through your newsletter. But, here in America, the Fourth of July is the next big holiday, next big event, the next big celebration to look forward to after the celebration of Memorial day at the end of May

Every state across the nation is in prep mode, getting ready for the big celebration as well as the big bang of fireworks. People are planning and shopping for their own celebrations and parties They're doing things their way. *Family reunions* usually take place during the Fourth of July as well as back yard cookouts, pool parties and barbecues. Even summer resorts are preparing themselves for the influx of visitors and tourists as this day approaches. Beach resorts are also getting ready for those who love the sand and salt water.

Here are some Fourth of July ideas to consider for your newsletter -

Fourth of July Recipes
For you foodies out there I am sure you probably have some great recipes for some patriotic dishes, dessert and even drinks. Think entertainment and how you could help a hostess host the best Fourth of July event she's ever given; one that her guest will be talking about for years to come. Consider sharing a special recipe or a family favorite. Be sure to utilize the patriotic colors in your recipes. Share some table setting and decorating ideas.

Patriotic Hometown Veteran
Celebrate a *hometown veteran, maybe one wounded in battle*. Ask them for an interview to tell their story of what Fourth of July means to them after all they've been through and seen; man or woman. Ask them for their permission to publish or print it as a special feature in your newsletter. Be sure to include their family, as well.

Fourth of July Quotes
Know any profound Fourth of July or *patriotism quotes*? Share them with your readers. People like Ben Franklin, James Bryce and John F. Kennedy all made profound quote on justice freedom and the patriotism of America. This will help remind people what the Fourth of July is all about.

Fourth of July Safety tips
With Fourth of July celebrations and events, especially outdoor events safety becomes important to everyone. Consider listing some safety tips like water safety, keeping a children safe around fireworks, being responsible for personal alcohol usage, covering food and beverages while outdoors to keep bees and wasps away; and last but not least be sure to apply the sunscreen for protection of the skin especially while enjoying water sports.

Fourth of July Games and Fun Facts
This is where you get to have some fun. Most readers enjoy games and little fun facts. Try a trivia game or a word game. One word game you could use especially with children is the Fourth of July word game. This game requires the player to come up with a word associated with the Fourth of July holiday for each letter in the alphabet. You may know of other games that can be slanted to the celebration of theFourth of July.

I hope these ideas will help your creativity and that maybe, just maybe even more ideas may come to mind. Remember, there is a lot to be celebrated during Fourth of July and many people spend months planning vacations, parties, celebration, camping trips and outdoor fun. So be sure to check with your parks and recreation department to see what they have planned. You may be able to get some ideas from them as well. But all in all, don't forget to celebrate the patriotic colors of Red White and blue.
