Senegal Parrot Jigsaw Puzzle

Cheesepuff, the Senegal Parrot is really enjoying a good munch on a carrot for this jigsaw puzzle. As always, you can make this puzzle easier (or harder) by changing the shape and number of pieces.

Click here to send this picture as a postcard.

Cheesepuff had quite an adventure a few years ago when he decided to try flying when his person was not expecting him to. Luckily he landed near a bird friendly person who contacted his owner when he saw the ad in the paper and the reports on the news of his disappearance.

If you are unfortunate enough to have your bird fly away from you, there are several things to do that will help you get your bird back home where he belongs. See the related links below to read about finding your lost bird.

The Senegal Parrot is a poi - which is short for poicephalus. They are native to Africa where they are still fairly common in the wild.

Pet Senegals make wonderful pets. They love to spend time with their person and are generally fairly quiet birds.

For more information about these birds, you can find the following book about the Senegal Parrot at Amazon.com or Amazon.ca

Do you have a Senegal? Why not drop by the forum and tell us all about your bird. We love to see pictures and talk about our feathered compantions and would love to have you join us.
