The Bible Basics site is meant to help you to figure out what you believe and why you believe it, by sorting out the details of the Bible, answering hard questions, and sharing insights into difficult concepts. I plan to explore what the Bible says about studying God’s Word, Science, the Church, the Future, Family, God, Love, Prayer, Sin and Evil, and How to Live on this fallen planet. My name is LeeAnn, and I’m an empty-nester living in Idaho with my pastor/mail man/builder husband. I’ve been a Christian my entire adult life, taught classes and Bible studies, and home schooled our two boys through high school. They grew up and flew the coop, so we got chickens.

One of my weaknesses is Random Reading, wherein anything bearing print snags my attention and makes impossibly large chunks of time vanish out of my day. I’m happy to say that I’ve included a “Book Reviews” section on the site, to redeem this failing. If you know of a good book…oh, I really shouldn’t say that! Never mind. Oh, go ahead and send me suggestions.
