Halloween Books

The fun of Halloween is deep in the minds of the children all through the month of October. It is a great time to get some Halloween books and gather round to read some scary stories. Children like to dress up for the evening, but they also like to read about other kids and what they do on Halloween. Halloween books are fun!

Many Halloween books contain bright visuals, there are also many Halloween board and picture books. You might want to check out books on tape the come with the scary sound effects associated with Halloween.

Candy, costumes, monsters, trick-or-treat, witches, fairies, and fun - these are the words kids use to describe Halloween.

Some Halloween books are for older kids.

Scream Street Books by Tommy Donbavand. These are appropriate for tweens. At the age of ten Luke Watson turns into a werewolf. He and his family have to leave so they go to Scream Street. He and his new sidekick- a vampire and a mummy have some great adventures searching for six relics.

Note: Scream Street was checked out from the library.
