Book Review 365 Excuse Me... by Mina Parker
Many years ago I was lucky enough to have Lynn Grabhorn’s book, Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting, recommended to me. It was the first book I ever read on the law of attraction and to this day it remains one of my favorites. That’s why I was so excited to see a book of daily inspirations based on this law of attraction bestseller.

In 365 Excuse Me… Mina Parker draws on Lynn’s inspirations and creates a very readable and empowering book of daily inspirations.

Mina touches on all the things that slow us down (or drag us down) and offers suggestions on how to get back into the flow of things.

Do you suffer from feelings of lack, or do you feel you are a victim of your circumstances? Do you have an old erroneous belief system that you brought with you from childhood that holds you back? Do you feel that you need to control every aspect of your life and that things won’t get done unless you do them? Do you feel, deep down inside, that no matter what you do you’ll never actually get what you want?

365 Excuse Me… touches on all these things, and offers us the inspiration to move forward and get to the next level in our lives. Each day starts with a quote from Excuse Me Your Life is Waiting. Then Mina shares a personal story (all of them enjoyable and entertaining), and then ends with a one or two sentence suggestion for that day. Then you can take the day to work with that concept.

I greatly enjoyed going through this book! And I enjoy the way it starts my day off on the right foot.

Sweetness. The seed of who you are. The perfect gift from the Universe. Your angelic self, your highest consciousness, your finest vibrations, the light within you.

No matter what your current circumstance – poverty, shame, loneliness, anger, boredom – there lies within you a source of life and living that is your boldest champion and your closest ally. No one can take it away from you, you can’t even take it away from yourself. No situation or action can dull its brilliance. You may hide it well, bury it deep, and think it’s gone, but it will always be there.
From the book – day 252.

We all get grumpy, we all behave in ways we wish we hadn’t, and we all make choices based on fear and our feelings of insecurity. 365 Excuse Me… helps us to overcome those fears gently and joyfully, and move into the sweetness of our being, one step at a time, one day at time.
