How to Make Chocolate Scents for Valentine’s Day

Chocolate Souffle, Milk chocolate bath balls, Chocolate mint body oil …what a great way to experience and enjoy Valentine’s Day.

OK, so you don’t have a significant other, no problem! Who says you can’t be “sweet” to yourself? My mother taught me that if you can’t be by yourself, how will you get to know who you are? Sometimes what we think is sad and awful (that all depends on the mouth you choose to listen to) is really a blessing in disguise, even if it means being with ‘You’ on Valentine’s Day.

You know that quiet time you’ve been wanting to have ….. that time when no one disturbs you and you can kick back and just relax. Well make Valentine's Day that special time for you.

Prepare a special treat for yourself. A Chocolate Mint body oil … that sounds good. A visit to your local health food store or bath shop in the mall to get some supplies would be a great place to start. Between the two locations, you should be able to find a bath/body oil. A good combination would be jojoba oil and sweet almond oil.

If you can find almond fragrance oil that’s a great start but the secret is to find a chocolate fragrance oil. It comes in dark and milk chocolate scents and then you add that little touch of mint fragrance oil.

Now here is how you put this special treat together:

8 ounces of oil (4 oz jojoba/4 oz sweet almond oil)
¼ teaspoon of almond scented fragrance oil
¼ teaspoon of mint fragrance oil
½ teaspoon of the chocolate scented fragrance oil

Add your fragrance oils to your container first then add your jojoba/sweet almond oil blend. I chose fragrance oils because what we're really going for here is the sensory affect. The effect of smelling a nice sweet chocolate blend.

Blend them together in the morning and allow your potion to marinate throughout the day. The longer it sets the more intense the flavor will become. Bring home or go out and get yourself some flowers and if you choose, a bottle of wine. Don't forget the music!

You can use this same blend and add just a few drops to an unscented bath salt blend, then add a few drops of the mint and chocolate fragrance oils to an unscented body wash. Now you have the full pamper ‘Me’ package.

Make this a special night for You. And when a special someone becomes a part of your life, you will know exactly what you want from him. You will know how you want to be treated, what makes you feel good, what type of touch you like and you’ll definitely know how to choose the man to give it to you.

So make this Valentine’s Day a special day for Yourself and understand that Valentine’s Day is not the only day to be kind to You.
