Want to add a special touch to your Christmas gift giving? You can design your own gift tags to put on your gifts. It's fun to do and so rewarding when your friends and family want to know where you got the cute gift tags.

When you open Print Shop Pro Deluxe, the Select a Project Window is displayed.

Choosing your Project

Starting with the Select a Project Window
• Choose Labels
• Click on Next
• Choose "Start from Scratch" to design your own labels
• Click on Next
• Select "Address and Shipping Labels" from the Select Label Functions
• Click on Next
• Select the label size you want (I recommend Avery 5162 or 5163)
• Click on Finish

Designing your Label

• Insert a graphic – Choose from the art gallery, a photo on file or from the web, or clipart you find on the web
• Insert a text box for any greeting you would like to include. Type the greeting in the text box and format it as desired. Position it on the label.
• Insert another text box. Type "To:". Format the text and position it on your label.
• Insert another text box. Type "From:". Format the text and position it on your label.
• Add any special effect you'd like. For example: Add a radiant glow effect or drop shadow to your text.

After you have completed your label layout, use the print preview to view how the labels will print. Make any adjustments you feel are necessary before printing. I sometimes will do a trial print on regular paper to see whether I am getting what I expect. Once the print preview is to your satisfaction, load the labels into your printer tray and print.
