Samurai Girl Real Bout High School

Samurai Girl Real Bout High School
Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School is based off of the manga series, Real Bout High School, which is written by Reiji Saga and Sora Inoue. Both the manga and the anime were based on a light novel series by Reiji Saga. The characters that appear in the novel are more or less the same as the manga and anime, but with a few minor adjustments. The events in the anime series actually take place after the events of the manga, with several events moved.

The main character in the series is Ryoko Mitsurugi. She's the current K-Fight champion at her school, Daimon High. At this school, disagreements among the student body are settled by these K-Fight matches. Ryoko is highly skilled in kendo, and only one student in the school can do better than her in Kendo (Tatsuya Shishikura, the captain of the tendo team). Ryoko also has a samurai obsession. One day, Ryoko finds a strange pendant, which transports her to another dimension which is called Solvania. In this dimension, Ryoko is expected to fight monsters.

The former K-Fight champion was Shizuma Kusanagi, until Kyoko beat him. Shizuma left school, and becomes a street fighter who practices kamui. While he has no martial arts training, Shizuma uses methods from his years of street fighting, his personal style, and his kamui no ken. This combination makes Shizuma one of the strongest martial artists at Daimon High.

Azumi Kiribayashi is Ryoko's rival. Azumi is a very skilled fighter and is in love with Tatsuya Shishikura. Hitomi Yuki is Ryoko's best friend, and supports her in time of need. Daisaku Kamiya is Ryoko's biggest fan. He stalks her a lot, but can be very helpful to her at times.

Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School has quite a bit of fanservice. While this fanservice is primarily made up of panty shots, there are some shots where jiggling, covered breasts can be seen. With the fanservice, this anime is definitely not appropriate for all ages. I would personally recommend Samurai Girl: Real Bout High School to anime viewers who are 16 or 17 years of age and older.
