Moving the Mountain

Do you look back after you pray? Do you have enough faith to believe that your pray is answered? If you pray for someone, are you tempted to check with them to see if your prayer worked? Where is your faith?

When we pray we can expect our prayers to be answered. Power of life and death are in the power of your own tongue. The power that Jesus possessed when he told the fig tree that it would not produce fruit again lies within you.

There is a season for everything. Jesus went to the fig tree expecting to find figs because they were in season. The fig tree failed to provide the one thing that it was meant to provide…figs.

Each person in the body of Christ has a special gift deposited within him or her. Each gift possessed by each person, no matter how large or small, has a purpose to the body of Christ. The day that you make a choice to give your life to Christ will be a glorious blessing for you. If you have already joined the body of Christ, then you have already experienced the Glory of the Lord.

Matthew 21: 18-22
18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Jesus cursed the fig tree when he saw that there were no figs. The bible says that the tree withered away presently. It was not something that happened hours or days later. Jesus did not look back to see if his words had power. He already knew of the power that he had. When he spoke his words, he had faith in knowing that it would come to pass.

Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Have faith that the Lord will do everything that he said that he would do. He said that he would never leave you. He also said that he will fight your battles. Be encouraged to speak to you situation and watch your mountain be cast into the sea.

Be Blessed
