November 20 2009 Learning Disabilities Newsletter
I love this time of year for the fun indoor projects we can do with the kids, and at the same time develop small motor skills!
1. Clove Studded Orange Project
This is a suitable home or school project for kids of varying abilities with an adult ready to help if needed.
2. Felt Animal Chains for Christmas Trees
This is one of my favorite projects for the Christmas tree.
3. Thanksgiving Bookmark Project
A very easy project for kids of varied abilities to try, including those with disabilities, with lots of help and encouragement from someone that can help with using scissors.
4. The Joy of Christmas - Piano Music
Once again Denes Agay has put together an inspiring collection of holiday piano music that can be played, sung to, or made into dances.
