1. Clapping Rhythms with Kids
Kids of various abilities can practice clapping rhythms to different time signatures. A teacher or assistant can help as needed.
2. Skills Practiced in ABCD Sequencing
The skills practiced are ABCD sequencing, memorization, following oral instructions, working cooperatively as a group while moving using large motor skills in rhythmic sliding and skipping.
3. Encouraging Each Step of Responsibility
Since kids look like they enjoy copying the big kids or parents to the best of their ability, it is productive to encourage each new step.
