Newsletter Archive
Welcome to the astronomy site. My main aim is to provide useful astronomy-related content in plain English, which will hopefully appeal to amateur astronomers, teachers, students and parents (to name a few). If you’re interested in following the site, the free newsletter will give you a helping hand, keeping you informed of recent articles, forum discussions and any important developments at BellaOnline.

Signing up for the newsletter is straightforward. There is a newsletter box on the right hand side of this page (and one at the very bottom if you fancy a scroll) – just pop your address in and click the button. If you sign up and do not receive a newsletter, make sure that it hasn’t been sent to your spam or junk folder. If it has, you’ll have to add BellaOnline to your whitelist. You can unsubscribe at any time.

BellaOnline will NOT spam you or sell your information to people who can. The subscribers list is does not require personal details of the recipient, just an email address. The newsletter is sent out weekly (sometimes biweekly). They will always be concise and jargon-free. While product reviews may appear as articles, the newsletter will not contain sales pitches or huge graphics.

If you’re having problems with signing up for the newsletter, thoroughly check the help pages that come with your email client and try sending yourself some test emails. If you’re sure the problem is not with your client and that BellaOnline is definitely on your whitelist, email me using the form on my profile page. Remember to include a contact email that is definitely working (there are many free webmail services).

Astronomy is a fascinating subject that can be considered both an art and a science. I entered the field out of a romantic interest in stargazing, but quickly became interested in the physics too. If you have any questions or suggestions, email me or pop on to the astronomy forums and let me know. I’d be very interested to hear what readers would like to see on the site.

Finally, I hope you enjoy reading the site and, more importantly, that you find what you’re looking for. Once again, you can always get in touch if there is a topic you’re aching to see covered – I aim to reply to emails within 48 hours. For those of you who join the forums, I look forward to your discussions. In the meantime, happy stargazing.
