The genre of Drama movies ranges from comedic and romantic dramas to biographic and action dramas to pure dramas...and more in between. Some dramas are meant for and suitable for young audiences, like the vintage movie Author! Author! starring Al Pacino, while some are meant for and only suitable for mature audiences, like Charlie Wilson's War starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts. Loving families want to know which is what before the children and youths in the house see the movie—not after.
My movie reviews for BellaOnline Drama Movies tell you about the movie, whether it's worth going to see or renting and for whose viewing it's suitable. I'll be covering a mix of in-theater dramas and DVD and classic dramas. (Ever seen Stage Door Canteen? It's a classic that I've reviewed—and I love it!) Over time, I'll review everything from mood-drenched film noir to road-trip films, including the lovable triple-genre combination (Adventure/Comedy/Drama) Little Miss Sunshine with Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin.
I'll be sending newsletters out at the weekend so that you can plan your viewing week ahead, and so you know the score on Friday's new release(s). I'll include a mention of what dramas are up for release on the following Friday—in case you want to catch opening day. Any additional review(s) (sometimes I'm ambitious) I've written during the week on Monday or Thursday will be mentioned as well. We're going to be busy for a long while—I’ve a long queue of movies just waiting—what with new releases, old favorites and fresh discoveries. Come along for the ride—I think we'll fare better than Chevy Chase did in Vacation (1983). In fact, I'm sure of it!

"Punjab, buy out the 8:00 show. Let's all go to the movies," as Daddy Warbucks would say—did say!—in Annie from 1982.
As a Postscript (What could possibly follow Daddy Warbucks?), on my Drama Movies site, you'll find primary subject topics listed to the left of the text listing the featured new reviews. Click a Subject topic link to see movie descriptions and review titles within that topic. You'll also see placeholder links that represent a sort of queue of some of what's to come in the topic. There are also some Guest Author articles. You'll also occasionally see subtopic links that lead to a second level of articles or even a third level (Joan of Arc), for example, you'll see a link to Film Noir in Classics. Getting around will be easy and the newest handful of review articles will be front page, front and center. Buy out the show—we're going to the movies!
