Recipe for Tea Tree Oil Spray
If you only stock one essential oil in your medicine cabinet, tea tree oil should be it! It's one of the most versatile oils out there and can be used in hundreds of situations including as a bug repellent, for conditions such as athlete's foot, acne, and dandruff, and even to cleanse wounds. This oil usually comes in a small bottle and a little bit goes a long way. That's why it is a good idea to have this natural tea tree oil spray on hand.

Recipe for Natural Tea Tree Oil Spray:


Ingredients:

1 spray bottle, 4 ounces in size
1 tablespoon vodka
15 drops tea tree essential oil
Filtered or Distilled Water

Instructions:

You should take the extra step to make sure the spray bottle is cleaned or even sterilized. To sterilize the bottle, you can boil it in hot water for 10 minutes and then let it air dry. You can also use the dishwasher to sterilize the bottle.

Pour the vodka into the spray bottle and then add the tea tree oil. Immediately fill the bottle with water. Cover the bottle and shake vigorously. Store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. Shake the bottle well before use.

How to Use the Tea Tree Oil Spray


Now that you've made the spray, your next step is to find ways to use it. Here are some situations where tea tree oil could bring relief:

  • Athlete's Foot.
  • Spray the affected area 2-3 times a day until you experience relief.
  • Bug Repellant.
  • Before going outside, spritz your clothes, skin, and hair with this spray. It can help repel bugs such as mosquitos and black flies.
  • Coughs and Congestion.
  • Tea tree oil can relieve coughs and congestion. Just spray this on the affected areas, such as the lungs or sinuses. Be careful not to spray any products containing tea tree oil in the eyes!
  • Dry Scalp.
  • Tea tree oil is known to help relieve dry, flaky scalp. Spray the mixture directly on the scalp 1-2 times a day.
  • Skin Problems.
  • This essential oil can bring relief from skin issues such as acne, bug bites, sun burns, and even wounds.
