- 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 8 sesame seed topped hamburger buns

a large bowl, combine the shredded Monterrey Jack cheese with the hot pepper sauce, lean ground beef, chopped onion, salt and pepper. Mix well, let stand for about 10 minutes, then shape into 8 burger patties. Grill over hot coals for about 5 to 6 minutes per side, or until they are browned to your liking on the outside and totally free of any trace of pink in the center inside.
