Master The Art Of Feeling Good (Part 6)

Nothing’s More Important Than Feeling Good
If you want to feel good naturally on a regular basis then you must get your life and everything else into proper perspective.
“To feel good” is the reason you want things – relationships (that make you feel good), fame (in order to feel good), accomplishments with admiration (so you can feel good about yourself), wealth and an abundance of all good things (would make you feel great, right?). Therefore, “feeling good” is more important to you than anything else!
“Well,” you might say, “my family is more important to me than how I feel.” But just realize, if you want your children, your parents or your spouse to be happy, the best thing you can do for them is to set a good example by feeling good yourself. The three most important elements in teaching others are 1) example, 2) example and 3) example.
So, “joy” is the ultimate goal. If you make feeling good your priority, then you’ll soon be in the flow and everything else will start to fall into place.
Remember I said, “joy” – not self indulgence or instant gratification. These may, or more than likely may not, bring you real joy. They usually carry a “misery later” price tag.
To help you relax and remind yourself that joy is your priority, I suggest a couple of affirmations. You can start with “Nothing is more important than I feel good.” And, when it’s appropriate, you can meditate on “I’m happily satisfied right now and eagerly looking forward to a fabulous future.”
These affirmations, and others you design for yourself, will help remind you to look for the “joy” in each moment as you master the art of feeling good.
