What bigger indicator of autumn could there be than the appearance of the
pumpkin. Everywhere I go I see pumpkins…. As decorations on the front porch,
colored pictures by school children hanging at local businesses, and of course the
waves of pumpkins flowing out the front doors of every local market. Our
favorite coffee shops may even now be serving pumpkin spice lattes!
