What’s new at the BellaOnline Cocktails site today?

As the seasons are changing, the bookworm in me is wanting to spend a lot of time curled up with a good book. Reading one of my all-time favorites - Like Water for Chocolate - inspired me to write a book review and to post some recipes for chocolate-flavored cocktails. Find recipes for Hot Peppermint Patty (tastes just like warm candy), the Gingerman (rum and ginger-flavored brandy spice up chocolate ice cream), and African Coffee (strong and potent enough to keep you reading all night!).

Another book I keep handy is the 1979 edition of Playboy’s New Host & Bar Book (when published, it was newer than the 1971 original edition). In my review of it, you’ll find many of the reasons why I won’t ever part with it.

And, just in time for trick or treating, I’ve listed a few Ghoulishly Halloween Cocktail Recipes - the Devil’s Tail, the Corpse Reviver (said to have been invented for drinking the morning after but it’s way too spirited for my mornings!), and the Screaming Banana Banshi.
