After the roast beef recipe last week, Deb Duxbury, our Animal Life editor asked me about using buffalo to replace beef. Her site deals with a lot of environmental issues, and she thinks buffalo is a viable alternative to beef. Of course, she advocates using locally grown meat as much as possible.

Sandwich Name Game and Sandwich Ideas

Do you need sandwich ideas? A new section of the BellaOnline Sandwiches Site will use ideas from the Sandwich Name Game at BellaOnline to give readers ideas for sandwiches. This resource will assemble sandwich ideas by ingredients and sandwich style.

There are over 90 pages of ideas, and I'm going through them to compile the lists into basic categories. Later, I will do sub-categories by ingredients. So, let's say that you want to use up your bell peppers before they go bad, you will be able to go to the peppers section and find ideas for sandwiches that use peppers.

These are not recipes, rather they are ideas that you can use when you want to create your own sandwiches. Always remember, if you want a particular sandwich recipe, just let me know. I am able to develop recipes, as time allows.
