I hate to be a mythbuster but your dishwasher needs to be cleaned, especially if you have mold allergy and an aversion to grime. For years, I have been lulled into believing my dishwasher didn't need cleaning until one day I took a serious look and realized it was a haven for mold and mildew. I got busy cleaning and won't neglect the task in the future.
