May 10 2007 Senior Living Newsletter

Hi! I want to apologize for the delay in this week's newsletter and article. I won't offer excuses, as someone once told me that excuses only amount to lies. I do have reasons, the one with the most blanket coverage: I am human.

This week I've written about the next stage of hearing loss. I've had a couple of other articles over the past months about my personal experience with hearing loss. Next week I'll have another because I want to share my experience with others with hearing loss that they may be denying or don't even realize that they have, though it's hard for me to understand how anyone can not know they have a hearing loss with family members getting frustrated when they have to repeat themselves several times.

I've provided links to the other articles at the bottom of the article at Senior Living at BellaOnline.com. My situation is only my situation. These things are all individualized...different from anyone else. The articles are not meant to be medical advice, but simply information that can help point you or someone you love in the right direction to find out what is best for that individual.

Here's the latest article from the Senior Living site at BellaOnline.com.

Don't take hearing for granted
Recognizing when it´s time to see a hearing specialist and doing something about the situation is a stressful situation. In fact, hearing loss should be on the list of major life-changing events.
