Greetings everyone!

It has been a wet one here in the Central plains over the past few weeks. After a good storm, I always feel a bit like Snow White with all of the wildlife scurrying around the yard.

A month ago we had a grey long haired female cat that just gave birth to 4 kittens. They are each about the size of the palm of my hand now. Believe it or not, this is the same cat I befriended at the last place we lived. She managed to find us once again. And people wonder whether or not the animal kingdom understands and have emotions they deal with throughout the day.

I've always had a kindred friendship with our furry friends, but I am always amazed by just how well they comprehend. I have seen this beautiful creature tilt her head a bit at me and gather the kittens just by my thinking it's time for dinner. I visit with her consistently throughout the day too, but when I'm specifically thinking about dinner (I'll even test her by changing the times around) she'll sit just for a minute or two and delivers the message!

Today I felt a bit ridiculous playing with a toy my husband purchased. She watched me as if to say, "I'm sorry, I just don't see the point. That's not a real bird on the end of that stick." I sent the thought or picture I should say of a play thing, like a blade of grass or a twig the kittens might play with and she gathered up the kittens from under the porch and showed them how to bat at it (ONCE). Then she layed back down and took a nap. Much like many of us!

I've also come to notice this spring not only has innovated some of nature's most beautiful specimens of the wild, it also has a great many Earth Angels, coming up for air after a long hard winter. Being one of them, I simply can't get enough of the fresh air and sunshine when it is out or a simple trip to the lake. It truly regenerates my Soul.

For all of you fellow Earth Angels, here are some articles that may keep you in good spirits as well! And remember, we may be Earth Angels, but it's Earth where we are carrying out an innate mission. Don't be too hard on yourself if you happen to get distracted. You are in it for the long haul. But also remember, it is has never been or ever could be that any part of your mission itinerary includes being a door mat. That completely defeats the Earth Angel's mission :)
